A message from your development coordinators:

This is Whitney "Ramen" Jin, Vibha "Cheese" Sastri, and Kaitlyn "Mochi" Liu, writing to you on behalf of Camp Kesem Rice as this year’s Development coordinators. We are excited to kick off the inaugural Move for Magic: Virtual Run this upcoming November 13-16th. Though we are all geographically separate, we are excited to unite (remotely) to raise awareness about Camp Kesem and fundraise to bring the Kesem magic to 150+ children. 

Camp Kesem is a national non-profit organization that serves children through and beyond a parent/guardian’s cancer. During the week of summer camp, children are surrounded by others who can understand the feelings of frustration, uncertainty, and sadness that accompanies a parent’s cancer. At camp, kids can just be kids, and the games, crafts, Cabin Chats, lake days, and Talent Shows often make camp one of the best weeks of the year for our campers and counselors. 

The Kesem community is truly magical, and we are excited to connect virtually, get healthy, and raise awareness for Camp Kesem Rice!
